911 Police Aid Foundation holds Fund Raiser For Sick WTC First Responders

Come save a life by joining us to help provide a better Quality of Life for our men and women of rank and file who fell ill as First Responders resulting from the WTC attack. The 911 Police Aid Foundation is hosting a fund raising drive on March 22, 2010, at Uncle Vinnies Comedy Club, 168 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY. There is a special offer $10.00 admission.

Press Release (PressBurner) Mar 07, 2010 - 911 Police Aid Foundation was founded by Det., Michael Valentin, President 3 years ago. Since his repid decling health 3 months ago with multiple medical conditions, Valentin was succeeded by Sgt. Gary White also a fighting WTC First Responder Survivor. NYPD, Sargent Gary White's tireless efforts are a dedication of pride for all First Responders. White's efforts also include staying on top of health bills that are in the process of being passed or declined by legislation. The ill disabled responders who eventually become totally disabled lack funds to pay bills because of the high cost of medications. "First Responders have been misdiognosed and even brushed away with unnecessary new rules and protocols that were never planned for in the first place", cited by Joe Garofalo, 1st. Vice President, First Responder for the foundation.
