After an 18 month writing, recording and promotion tour of Asia, San Francisco's longtime singer/songwriter resident relocates to New Orleans.
SOUTHWAY's third album called 'Suitcase' set for release January 2010, was written and recorded in Seoul, South Korea where he is currently finishing the final dates of the 2009 Asian tour. "Being based in Seoul for the last 18 months has been great", reflects the singer. "I really wanted to shake up my surroundings and get inspired by being submerged in a completely foreign culture, but now I'm ready to come back home again and I'm really looking forward to moving to New Orleans".
Following a US promotion tour this fall with shows in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco the new album is currently available online along with previous albums through the artist's website at http://www.southwaymusic.com/. Early next year the album will be available through regular online music stores. "Playing back in the states this fall really made me miss [the US] so I'm looking forward to the excitement of a new city, meeting new people, playing a lot of shows and really feeling what the city is about".
