Although comBATON is currently played by TaeKwonDo stylists, it works for any style. Steve Blanton, comBATON's commissioner, started out in Shotokan, went to Kung Fu and ended up in Tae Kwon Do. He also had a short stint with Shito Ryu and believes that bringing in other styles rounds martial artists out by developing them in different ways.
Master Detaille has conducted Karate seminars in Belgium, Morocco, and France. His initial goal is to establish a local league in Bellegarde, France. Jacky brings a fresh perspective to comBATON and extentive experience in organizing martial arts tournaments.
