The European look and feel of this market at Liberty street and Main street come from the way the canopys are erected in one long continuous shelter on either side of the aisle with all the vendor's booth space facing inward making walking down the aisles a pleasurable place to shop. Bruce Hughes a beekeeper from West Chicago and a veteran honey vendor says, "I love the Lilac bushes edging the market when they bloom in May. I kid with my customers from Wheaton that they may have seen some of my bees in their backyard."
