Economic Stimulus Saving of $15.00 Offered on Shower Manager

New Automated Shower Timer Helps Control Excessive Teen Showering

Press Release (PressBurner) Jan 26, 2009 - Denver, Colorado:  Global Network Solutions announced they will offer $15.00 off their new shower timer, called the Shower Manager. This discount will be offered on all Internet orders placed through March 31, 2009.  To qualify for this discount, the word “stimulus” needs to be placed in the coupon section of the ordering page at www.ShowerManager.com.

Global Network has developed a unique solution to  reduce showering times and save energy. It is a fully automated device called the Shower Manager.  “It gives the shower-taker a full-flow of water for a pre-set time  period. Once this time has expired, the water flow is cut by two-thirds, leaving just enough to rinse, but not enough flow to encourage continued showering,” says Don  Brunkhardt, founder of the company.

A small micro-processor controls the operation of the unit. The head-of-household programs in the full-flow (5, 8 or 11 minutes) time frame using a polarized sensor. A 5-minute reset interval prevents the shower-taker from overriding the system. The unit can be self-installed in minutes, without the need for a plumber. It installs between the shower pipe coming out of the wall and the existing showerhead, and is powered by a small 9-volt battery.

Efforts to stay “green” in the shower and manage shower times have largely been voluntary, with an array of devices ranging from hour-glass timers to restrictive-flow shower heads. Other devices have required expensive retro-fitting of the shower stall and electrical connections.

Parents with teenagers would love to find a better way to control showering and eliminate the family feuds over showering times. Up to this point there seems to have been no other options between voluntary methods, alarms and restrictive shower heads.

The Shower Manager unit is patent-protected and is available only over the internet from www.ShowerManager.com. “In most instances, the cost of the unit can be recovered in less than 12 months with the water and energy cost savings,” says Don.
