Ex Eton Rd Star Danny Morris to take part in the 2nd Liverpool Twestival Event
Danny Morris will be performing at the Liverpool Twestival to help raise funds for Clatterbridge Cancer Research.
Press Release (PressBurner) Aug 27, 2009 - Twestival Local events are taking place in cities around the world between 10-13 September 2009. Liverpool will be holding theirs on the 10th September at the Leaf Tea Shop and Bar,
27 Parliament Street from 6pm. It will be an evening packed with entertainment and fun whilst helping to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.
Danny’s manager, Paul Chadd, said “Cancer research is something which is very close to my heart. I lost my Nan to this disease early last year and everybody knows somebody who is affected by cancer. We had no hesitation in taking part in this event and want to help raise as much money as possible.”
The final line up for the evening is still to be announced but Liverpool Twestival organisor, Mandy Phillips, says “this is an exciting opportunity for many local tweeps to get together to chat, drink, eat, dance and network - not necessarily in that order!” During his set, Danny, who will be on stage about 9pm will be performing his soon to be released single “Waiting 4 Your Heart 2 Call”
Twitter is now the “official” way of letting people know what you are doing, everybody who is anybody has a twitter account and if you haven’t you soon will do. Davina McCall can be found twittering each evening discussing Big Brother and several major news stories have been broken by celebrities announcing their plans to their Twitter followers before speaking to the press.
