Scaffold Group Ascends Great Heights in Top Awards
The economic downturn may be affecting the construction sector but construction businesses are showing growth through investment and be acknowledged at the highest level for their foresight.

Press Release (PressBurner) Feb 22, 2011 - London, United Kingdom - Wimbledon based Admiral Scaffolding Group have been shortlisted in this year's
Construction News specialists awards. Now in their10th year, the awards
create a platform for sub contractors in recognising their specialisms and
claiming some of the limelight usually bestowed on main contractors.

“No one can take their ‘reputation’ or ‘long history of excellence’ as a
given. Companies are going to have try even harder to prove themselves to
main contractors and clients.
That’s why we are very proud to announce the launch of this year’s
Specialists awards, the only awards dedicated in recognising the
contribution that specialist subcontactors make to the industry.”
Admiral have been recognised for their diverse specialism in large scale
construction projects as well as scaffolding for access and unusual
projects. Judges agreed this year's entries were exceptional and all the
companies shortlisted truly excelled in their fields.
Laura Withers, Admiral's Sales and Marketing Manager commented, “ It’s
great to be acknowledged in this way. Since the recession, we have put even
more effort into diversification and ensuring our operatives are trained to
the very highest standards to meet the requirements of our traditional
construction business and the unusual projects that are emerging from our
new Special Projects Division, like the internal access tower we built at
Top Shop Oxford Circus for mannequin display. The people skills and
technical skill needed to do this were completely different from say
building a temporary roof on the Four Seasons hotel in Mayfair or providing
scaffolding for major multi million pound new build projects. “
The award ceremony takes place on March 22 2011 at the Hilton Hotel, Park
Lane London.
Admiral Scaffolding Services is an established scaffolding company based in Wimbledon, who have planned and achieved strategic growth and diversification into other areas beyond the large scale commercial and residential projects that they are known for.
In the last 18 months AGS have grown and an enviable rate ,diversified into areas such as large scale retail access, rail side work and have expanded their work force at operative level and middle management,
