Tampa’s #1 Afternoon Show Picks Up Its First Affiliate!!
Cox Radio's Cowhead Show Adds Jacksonville's Rock 105 as first syndication affiliate.
Press Release (PressBurner) Oct 02, 2009 - The Cowhead Radio Show is proud to announce that starting Monday October 5th, 2009, Tampa Bay’s #1 Afternoon radio show will pick up its 1st affiliate. The Cowhead Show, which originates from WHPT-FM/Tampa (102.5 The Bone), will now also be heard on WFYV-FM/Jacksonville (Rock 105).
The Cowhead Show moved from mornings to afternoons on WHPT to accommodate the return of Bubba the Love Sponge™ to terrestrial radio. Since debuting in afternoon in January of 2007, The Cowhead Show has been ranked #1 in both Adults 25-54 and Men 25-54. “We know listeners want to be entertained all day, not just in mornings or afternoons and we are thrilled that Cox Radio and Rock 105 have given us the opportunity to entertain the people of Jacksonville” said show host Mike “Cowhead” Calta.
The Cowhead Show will begin airing at 7pm on Monday October 5th on Rock 105 immediately following The Greaseman.
