Press Release (PressBurner) Jun 11, 2009 - The Salesian Children's Project "Children of the Street", is a foundation with projects throughout Ecuador, dedicated to reintegrating children who live and work on the streets back into society through educational programming and social services.At a very young age street children have often already dealt with struggles and life experiences that we cannot imagine. Caring, outgoing and patient volunteers are needed to work with the children and teenagers involved in this foundation; teaching and working in agriculture, conservation and reforestation projects. The main goal of this organization and its volunteers is to rehabilitate street children and then integrate these children back into society Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school.

Volunteers can assist by doing following tasks:- Teaching and working with children and teenagers in agriculture, conservation and reforestation projects. Also maintenance work around the project will be completed to provide a safe and educational atmosphere for the children involved.
