Voodoo Terror Tribe just played to a full capacity crowd in the rock club Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey on January 3rd, and will be headlining their next Metal Rock Show with their new singer Gil at The Zebra Club on Saturday January 31, 2009.
Rising from the underground Metal Scene in New Jersey, VOODOO TERROR TRIBE was formed by EMIR ERKAL on the guitars and T-BONE on the drums, PRIMER on the bass, and now Gil on the vocals. Voodoo Terror Tribe made it to the top 100 CMJ and FMQB charts only 2 weeks after "Mandala" the debut CD was released. V.T.T.'s catchy sound has already been played in more than 70 College Radio Stations. V.T.T.'s last album "Alone in Pain" was unleashed as another assault on the senses. Produced by The Tribe itself, mixed by Tom DeKorte at Audio Garden Studio and mastered by John Seymour (Grammy winning Producer of U2 and Santana) at The Treefort Studio (Hoboken, NJ), "Alone in Pain" pushed VTT's groundbreaking sound farther than before. The album includes 10 powerful thrash/alternative/metal tracks with dark, catchy melodies, quality vocals and a ton of moxie.
From The Aquarian (NJ's top newsstand rock magazine) " Tim Louie writes,
"... I have to say that these guys are part of the hard working band fraternity. They're playing all over the place ... there were some excellent tracks on the Voodoo Terror Tribe Myspace page. They reminded me of Sevendust a little bit. The song "Under The Knife" is the epitome of Metal, and the cool riffs of "Deleted Scenes" will really draw people to this band. I'm sure their fan base is huge already, but if these guys keep trekking the way they are, they're definitely going places! ..."
In between recording their new CD which will be released later this year, the Tribe will be playing out for their loyal fans.
